East Pass Charter Conditions

Half-day and full-day trips run out of Destin Harbor year-round; call ahead rather than turning up.
Henderson Beach Surf Fishing
With a foot of surf, low rip risk and no purple flag, wading the trough is straightforward today. Bonita and hardtail are the most accessible targets around the beachfront during the morning high tide window. As water levels drop through the late afternoon, shift attention to the deeper channels and nearshore structure where the very shallow 7:41 PM low concentrates fish. Watch the western sky through that afternoon session — Destin has no municipal pier, so the beach and the boats are the options, and neither offers shelter from lightning.

The upside of the increased storm coverage is that it should keep the extreme heat of the past fortnight in check — the trade-off is more afternoon lightning, so build storm awareness into any beach or boat plans this week.
