Excellent — prime conditions all day. Southeast winds between 4-13 mph and minimal seas (1.6-1.8 ft) combine to create ideal fishing conditions across all three locations. Solunar forecasts point to excellent conditions with very high fish activity throughout the day. High tide windows at each location will trigger feeding activity, with strong action continuing into late afternoon. Water temperatures between 76-77°F support fish movement and feeding patterns — meaningfully warmer than last week, which should bump activity further.
Wind direction has swung to southeast for the first time in this stretch — different setup than the NE-SW pattern we've had, but conditions remain favorable.
What's Biting Today
Spanish Mackerel
Moving through pier ends and deeper cuts along the sandbars at all three locations. Activity peaks during high tide cycles. Fast-retrieved silver spoons and Got-Cha plugs remain the standard play.
Bluefish
Present along beaches and piers throughout the day. Peak feeding occurs during tide changes. Cut bait and small lures both produce.
Hardtail
Running with the Spanish mackerel and available through the piers and over sand bottom structure. Active all day with best windows at tide shifts.
Bonita
Positioned in deeper water beyond typical shore casting range. Best results from boat anglers or long-distance casts from the pier end.
Cobia
Still moving through the region. Occasional sightings during midday peak hours offshore and around structure — keep an eye out if you're on a boat.
Amberjack
Better activity continues in deeper offshore waters. Inshore activity remains limited — this is a boat fishery.
7:00 – 10:30 AM during the morning high tide across all locations, with solid afternoon action from 1:00 – 5:00 PM. With excellent solunar and warm water, the bite should hold up well between those windows too — this is an all-day kind of day.
