Excellent — prime conditions all day. Variable northeast to southwest winds in the 2-9 mph range and flat 0.4 ft seas are creating an ideal fishing setup across all three locations. Solunar forecasts are excellent with very high fish activity throughout the day — best rating of the week. Morning high tide windows at each location will drive consistent feeding patterns, with action continuing into the late afternoon push. Water temperatures in the 74-75°F range support active fish movement and feeding behavior.
Third straight strong day, and the best of the run on paper. Weekend timing means more anglers will be out — get to the pier early if you want elbow room.
What's Biting Today
Spanish Mackerel
Concentrated at pier ends and in the deeper cuts along the outside sandbars at all three beaches. Peak activity coincides with the high tide windows. Fast-retrieved silver spoons and Got-Cha plugs are the standard play.
Hardtail
Running alongside the Spanish mackerel through the piers and over sandy bottom structure. Present throughout the day with best windows at tide changes.
Bonita
Positioned in deeper water just beyond casting distance from shore. Best results from boat anglers or with extended casts from the pier end. Expect hard runs when you connect.
Ladyfish
Active along the shoreline and through the cuts, especially during the morning and evening tide phases. Light tackle and small lures — a good light-tackle target if the bigger species aren't producing.
6:00 – 9:00 AM during the morning high tide across all locations, with solid afternoon action from 2:00 – 6:00 PM. With excellent solunar and flat water, the bite should hold up well between those windows too — this is an all-day kind of day.
