Hardtail — Holding at the pier ends and current breaks at all three beaches. Position matters more than usual on a low-current day — find the breaks where water is actually moving.
King Mackerel — The larger offshore target, away from the beach troughs and surf zone in deeper water and wider channels. Boat access improves your chances substantially over pier fishing.
Best approach today: fish from the pier or dry sand rather than wading and work structure and current breaks, because the tide is not going to do the work for you.

No municipal pier here, so it is East Pass charters or surf fishing at Henderson Beach.
