Calm conditions across all three beaches. Light NE-SE winds at 1-8 mph and minimal seas at 1/2 to 1 ft mean fishable conditions everywhere — from the piers at Navarre and Pensacola to the East Pass and offshore fleet out of Destin. Water temperatures hold at 73°F across the Emerald Coast and clarity is improving, which helps sight-feeding species like Spanish mackerel.

Just 5% rain across the day means today's fishing window stays open from sunrise to sunset. The high tide pushes through midday at all three locations — 11:35 AM at Pensacola, 12:10 PM at Destin, and 12:45 PM at Navarre. With calm conditions and light wind, expect activity to hold up between tide windows too.

What's Biting Today

Spanish Mackerel

Moving through the piers at Navarre and Pensacola and feeding around the East Pass at Destin. Silver spoons and Gotcha plugs fished fast produce best, especially as the tide pushes midday. With the water clearing up, sight-feeders like Spanish should be aggressive today.

Bonita

Thick at all three locations — along the piers and in deeper beach cuts. Small casting jigs and spoons take them readily. They're aggressive feeders early in the tide window and will give you hard runs. At Destin, they're showing up around the East Pass and just outside.

Cigs

Large schools passing all three locations. Work them with silver spoons or jigging action. They're mixed in with the Spanish mackerel, so the same retrieves cover both. Particularly thick along the Navarre and Pensacola piers.

Hardtails

Present in the shallows around bait schools at all three beaches. Use them live or as chum to draw in larger predators. Also good eating fresh if you want to keep a few. Around the East Pass at Destin, they make excellent live bait for kings and other pelagics.

Pier Report — Navarre

Navarre Beach Fishing Pier should see steady action through the 12:45 PM high tide push. Spanish mackerel, bonita, and cigs are the main targets, with hardtails working the shallows around the pier legs. Light wind and clearing water mean the bite should stay on through the afternoon — much cleaner conditions than Saturday. For current pier hours and access fees, contact Navarre Beach Marine Park directly.

Pier Report — Pensacola

Pensacola Beach Pier is producing the same mix — Spanish mackerel and bonita with cigs in the rotation. The 11:35 AM high tide window will be the strongest bite of the day, and with the calm conditions, expect the evening rebound after 4:30 PM to produce as well. Hardtails are thick in the shallows nearby. Contact the pier directly for current hours and access information.

Charter & East Pass Report — Destin

The Destin charter fleet has a smooth day on the water with light wind and 1/2-1 ft seas — comfortable rides for half-day, full-day, and offshore trips out of HarborWalk Village. Inshore around the East Pass, Spanish mackerel and bonita are working the bait schools, with hardtails available as live bait. Surf anglers at Henderson Beach State Park should find the same nearshore species along with pompano in the wash. The 12:10 PM high tide push runs cleanly through the Pass — current can stack up at peak ebb and flow, so plan your transit accordingly. With the water clearing, sight-fishing conditions are improving across the Destin beaches.
