Rip current risk stays low throughout, so the change is about lightning and rain rather than the water.
Rip current risk is at low and wading is straightforward, though rips still form around pier pilings, jetties and the passes. Navarre is flying a purple flag for dangerous marine life, so keep bare legs out of the water there. The trade-off with water this flat is visibility: at half a foot the Gulf will be glassy and clear, and fish will see you and your terminal tackle far more easily. Bonita — Running just off the beach in nearshore Gulf water across all three locations. These travel in coordinated schools and respond enthusiastically to a feeding opportunity — position off the sand bars where they hunt.
Yellowtail Snapper — An offshore target, well away from the surf zone and pier areas, holding on deeper structure in open water. Reaching them means a boat and a run out, but mirror-flat seas make today the day to do it — and the weather closes in from tomorrow.
Best approach today: fish the morning highs and if you have offshore capability, use it — this is the last flat day of the week.

The 10:18 AM high is the strongest tidal flow of the three, making the late-morning shift the one to take here rather than a pre-dawn start. Destin
Spanish mackerel and hardtail occupy the beach zones and pier areas with strong activity, and bonita school in the nearshore water for a different target profile.
