Light southeast flow (4โ8 mph) and relatively calm seas (1.8โ2 ft) make for fishable conditions, but the solunar rating is just average today. The bite will concentrate around the morning highs โ 8:33 AM at Pensacola, 9:15 AM at Navarre โ before tapering off into the afternoon lows (Pensacola 4:53 PM, Navarre 6:31 PM). Work the piers and adjacent surf early, then don't expect much until late evening.

Pier Reports
Steady Action on the Morning Tide
Spanish mackerel, bluefish, and cigs moving through on the morning tide. Kings and amberjack are out of reach without a boat, but a few boaters are hooking up within sight of the pier. For current pier hours, contact Navarre Beach Marine Park.
Mackerel Mix & Sporadic Pompano
Producing Spanish mackerel and bluefish along with passing schools of cigs. Pompano sporadically in the surf around the pier pilings. Like Navarre, the morning high is your best window โ afternoon low around 4:53 PM will likely be slow. Contact the pier for current hours and fees.

Live Conditions & Fishing Info
See current flags, water temperature, and tide times for both beaches at the real-time fishing hub. The fishing page updates throughout the day as wind, tide, and water temp shift, and the tide page covers both NOAA stations.
Be on the pier by 7:00 AM with Got-Cha plugs and a sabiki for cigs. Throw fast retrieves until the morning high passes (~9 AM Navarre, ~8:30 AM Pensacola), then either chase pompano in the surf with sand fleas or pack it up until the evening rebound around 8 PM.
