Overall rating: Good. Light northeast to southwest winds at 2-9 mph and wave heights of 2.4-2.5 ft deliver favorable conditions across all three beaches. Solunar shows average fish activity, with tidal transitions providing the best windows. Water runs 79-80°F, keeping fish feeding on a normal pattern. A calm, workable day to be out.

What's Active Today

Spanish mackerel are the primary target across all three locations. Look for them along beach structures, around pier pilings, in deeper troughs, and along the cuts running parallel to the shoreline. Activity peaks during tide transitions and early morning.

Bluefish are one of the most reliable targets today, holding along the beaches and pier ends. They respond well to current lines and deeper features, with steady activity through the day and peaks at the tide changes.

Bonita are mixed in with other species offshore and in deeper zones beyond typical shoreline range. Boat access or extended pier reach improves your odds.

Cobia are still showing in small numbers outside the sandbars, especially in deeper water off the pier structures. They feed opportunistically during transitional periods — better success from boats or with extended pier reach.

Hardtail are running alongside the mackerel and bluefish near pier structures and over sandy bottom. Present throughout the day, more active during tide changes and around deeper features.

Ladyfish are showing in the wash zone and along current lines. Numbers hold steady through daylight with reliable windows at morning and evening tide transitions. Heads up: all three beaches are flying red flags today, so fish them from dry sand with a longer cast — don't wade.

Best Times to Fish Today

⚠ Average Solunar Day

Steady action rather than a peak feeding day. Tidal movement is where it's at — Navarre high at 8:04 AM and low at 7:08 PM, Pensacola high at 7:23 AM and low at 5:58 PM, Destin high at 8:52 AM and low at 7:51 PM. Early morning and evening tide windows are the most consistent. Note the strong evening low tides today (negative across all three), which can really concentrate fish in the troughs and cuts.
